스코틀랜드 스카이 섬

 

스코틀랜드 스카이 섬 트로터니시 반도에 있는 퀴랑 지형이다. 퀴랑은 약 1억 7500만 년 전에 형성된 것으로 추정되며, 산사태와 침식으로 인해 독특한 지형을 갖게 되었다.

크레이터 모양의 움푹한 지형
축구장 크기의 고원인 "테이블"
120피트 높이의 뾰족한 바위 "니들"
중세 성처럼 보이는 바위 덩어리 "프리즌"

하이킹: 약 7km 순환 코스로, 3~4시간 소요.

주차: 주차 공간이 협소하므로 아침 일찍 또는 늦은 오후에 방문하는 것이 좋다.

 

A quirang formation on the Trotternish Peninsula on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. It is estimated to have formed around 175 million years ago, and landslides and erosion have given it a unique topography.

Hike: Approximately a 7-kilometer loop that takes 3 to 4 hours.

Parking: Parking is limited, so it's best to visit early in the morning or late afternoon.
